Horseshoe Bend

DSC_0268

We left Bryce Canyon around 2 pm because we wanted to see Horseshoe Bend on our way to the Grand Canyon. Driving another 2 hours got us there. It was a 3/4 mile hike in the desert but it was worth it. Incredibly beautiful creation  but also very scary. Once you get to the viewpoint its about a 2,000 foot sheer drop to the water. I struggled after watching Kirk walk to the edge, then some lady wanted to take our picture for us. I gritted my teeth and held my breath as we stood near the edge. As soon as she took the picture I ran to a rock to stable myself. I would still go back again.
